The Quote

A quote appeared on the front of our ward bulletin over a month ago. It really struck me and I had a desire to share it with my family. Oddly enough, as I was listening to some old General Conference talks a couple weeks later, it showed up again. And I thought I should pass it on. I never did, and now I hope I didn't miss my chance to share it just at the right time. This is from President Boyd K. Packer:

"There is no habit,
no addiction,
no rebellion,
no transgression,
no apostasy,
no crime
exempted from the
promise of complete forgiveness.
That is the promise of the atonement of Christ"

I need to ingrain that in my head. What a powerful thought. I actually take everything out so it says "There is no habit....exempted from the promise of complete forgiveness."

Lately with my new job as an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay, I have found out things about myself that I really haven't wanted to know... Like, how I'm not self-disciplined. How I have no work ethic... and many other things. Things that I put under the title "bad habit".

I could really spend all day on the computer. I don't usually have an appetite, and could probably skip breakfast and lunch if I was able to stay in front of a computer all day and not have a two year old remind me it is time to eat.

Thanks for that... I might need to print that off on velum and tape it on my glasses so I would always see it... ^_^
